Do They Float?
Well, no, our FreeStyle flooring doesn’t float. But it’s still pretty cool, and here’s why:
Regular flooring requires one of two installation methods (nailing, gluing, or both). However, floating floors are installed to “float” above the subfloor or substrate, and this is especially helpful if the original flooring or subflooring can’t be removed. Each floor is installed in layers, with the first layer providing stability and the top layer providing the aesthetic.
